What you will learn

Cooking Class Description:

Greeks love their fish. While salmon is not that common in Greece, we have some wonderful sources here in the US for wild caught fresh salmon.

Indulge in the preparation of a Mediterranean meal. A fresh salad is always a wonderful way to prepare your tummy for the main meal and a crispy green lettuce mix will do the trick. Followed by a delicious sweet potato and feta cheese creation, coupled with baked  salmon with capers. We will end the meal with some tasty caramel pears for desert.

Everything is step by step and when it is all ready we will sit down all together and enjoy the meal family style. Weather permitting we will enjoy our time outside in the garden and spend some community time and chat. At the end of this class, you’ll go home with your tummy content and instructions on how to repeat the meal at your leisure.

What To Expect: This is a Mediterranean family event and as such it is about more than recipes—it's about techniques, habits, community and laughter. We will work together as a group in a fun, hands-on environment.

  • Classes are 2 to 2 1/2 hours, unless otherwise noted above

  • Hands-on classes are limited to 8 students

  • You will be standing, cooking and participating to some extend for most of the class

  • Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and have long hair tied back

  • You will enjoy a generous sit down meal with the whole class

  • You will get to take the recipe home

  • Students receive a coupon good for 10% off in purchases of the Mediterranean cookbook the day of class
